I am a writer and massage therapist who has combined these two disparate professions into a unique career path. At any given time, you might find me traveling the Himalayas to help promote the work of teaching “untouchables” to become massage therapists, or I could be helping a client develop a new spa concept,  training staffs, leading workshops, testifying in court or at deposition on cases regarding massage or speaking at international conferences. Through all of this, I write. My goal is to fuse massage and writing into something that is unique and quintessentially human, something that has not been said, or experienced, in precisely the same way before. This is what inspired my most recent effort: TOUCHY SUBJECTS: TALES FROM THE MASSAGE TABLE. I have also produced some of the most widely read massage education books in the world, including MASSAGE FOR DUMMIES, which has been translated into Italian, Spanish, Korean, Dutch and French.
